The first structured experience of a permanent theatrical project aimed at the children of our members was born in 2010, carried out at the same time by the collaboration between the composer Debora Comper in art Hamal, with regard to musical training and art direction, and by the director Emanuele Reti for the artistic-interpretative-theatrical training of children and the direction of the shows. It is aimed at children and young people between the ages of 10 and 18 and the choice of this band was dictated by the fact that the subjects dealt with in theatrical proposals are those dedicated to the memory and awareness of denied human rights , issues that require adequate preparation for the children involved in order to ensure that the artistic experience is not only professional, but also inwardly formative.

 

Active shows: Respect for children, Children's homes, The garden of life, I have a dream, The shining sword, as well as many other performances that the Association offers regularly to its members on the occasion of the holidays or what time demonstration of the skills acquired by the children.

 

Trentino has always been rich in choirs and dramatics, which not only played a formative and playful role, but above all a social aggregation. Through the theater we want to offer young people multiple expressive and formative experiences that over the years will translate into knowledge, self-esteem, courage, sensitivity, enthusiasm, resilience, self-discipline, etc. The ability to enter a role and remain in it requires considerable inner reinforcement. Just as the ability to know how to relate and collaborate with others in a constructive, empathetic and respectful way requires the development of emotional and relational skills, which over the years turn into social skills.

 

Furthermore, in our region there is a deep-rooted tradition of bilingual education sanctioned by law, especially in the nearby province of Bolzano, and there are numerous initiatives to introduce the study of several foreign languages ​​to complement the mother tongue as a vehicle for learning. The European Commission sets as a primary goal for the European citizen the knowledge of three European languages. For this reason, children are also met by numerous experiences of acting in English or German: it is believed that the use of the language conveyed strengthens the language skills and increases the disposition to face the unknown, to approach the activity not tested by the habit and to explore new worlds acquiring new skills and theatrical art is a privileged vehicle to pursue this goal.

 

We share the educational guidelines given by Howard Gardner and we aim, among other things, as an objective over the course of helping the young person to acquire the tools defined as "The 5 keys to the future" that materialize in the development of disciplinary intelligence both from point of view of cultural and professional knowledge, of synthetic intelligence that sees the individual able to grasp the essentiality of things and situations, to then be able to organize his life in a constructive way, of creative intelligence that favors genius outside from the schemes, of respectful intelligence towards diversity in order to work in harmony with others, of ethical intelligence in which the abilities to reflect on one's role in society develop, going towards the logic of the common good, of respect for the rules shared, pursuing universal values ​​such as equality, tolerance, respect, transparency, freedom, peace, brotherhood, sharing, solidarity, the common good etc ... taking responsibility for them.
